Then you'd be smarter in one little way... but anyway, he was a pantheist, not a straight theist. Terms like 'God doesn't do dice' or whatever, are metaphores for the universe (or multiverse if you wanna get deeper...)

He refused to accept that everything on the quantom level was truely random, and that it is just that we don't know how to proove the logic and order of quantom events.

He was a very smart man. Certainly with his maths skills. With relationships, he was a bit of a man-slut however.
